Eckhard Kruse
My life in one paragraph...:
Eckhard Kruse studied Computer Science at the Technical University Braunschweig, Germany, spending a year abroad in 1993/94 in Pisa, Italy. After receiving his M.S. degree (as 'Diplom-Informatiker') he worked as research assistant in the areas of robotics and computer vision. In 1998 he obtained his Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) for his work in vision-based robot control. After two more years as post-doctoral researcher, he moved to Heidelberg in 2000 to join industrial research, working as project manager and since 2003 as sub-department manager for 'Industrial Software Technologies'. Since 2008 he is professor for Applied Computer Science at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University.
